Fame
Fame was a 1982-1987 TV series. It's based on the 1980 film of the same name. It followed the students and instructors at NYC High School for the Performing Arts through drama and music. It was based on New York's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and Performing Arts. Hollywood filmed most inside scenes. All seasons save the third shot exterior scenes in New York City. The show's prominence in the UK led to hit albums and concert tours. After the series ended, few actors had high-profile careers. Some cast members appeared in the 2008 reunion special Bring Back...Fame.
