Dramarama

Dramarama is the name of a British TV show for kids that aired on ITV from 1983 to 1989. It often had drama that was based on science fiction or the supernatural. Anna Home, who was in charge of children's and youth programming at TVS at the time, came up with the idea for the show. However, most of the regional ITV franchise holders were responsible for making it. So, each episode was really a one-time production with its own cast, crew, and even executive producer. Dramarama was mostly a place for new actors to show what they could do. Anthony Horowitz, Paul Abbott, Kay Mellor, Janice Hally, Tony Kearney, David Tennant, and Ann Marie Di Mambro all got their start on Dramarama. It was one of the last things Dennis Spooner did. "Dodger, Bonzo, and the Rest," an episode of Dramarama, became so popular that it got its own show the following year. It was about a big foster home and starred Lee Ross. Granada turned the episode "Blackbird Singing in the Dead of Night" into the TV show "Children's Ward." It was also shown again for the first time since it first aired on January 5, 2013, during CITV's Old Skool Weekend, which celebrated the channel's 30th anniversary. The Series 7 episode "Back To Front," which is known for having a mirror image of the Yorkshire Television logo card at the end, was shown again on January 6, 2013, as part of CITV's Old Skool Weekend celebrating the network's 30th anniversary.
