The children's television show Cyberchase is produced jointly in the United States of America and Canada. The events of the series take place in the virtual world of Cyberspace, and they follow the exploits of three children named Jackie, Inez, and Matt. The children must use their knowledge of mathematics and their ability to solve problems in order to save Cyberspace and its leader, Motherboard, from the evil Hacker. The reviews for Cyberchase have been overwhelmingly favorable, and the game has taken home a number of prizes. The first five seasons were produced by Thirteen/WNET New York and Nelvana. Seasons six through eight were produced by Thirteen in partnership with Title Entertainment, Inc. and WNET.ORG. Thirteen produced seasons one through five. Within the United States, the program can be seen on Public Broadcasting Service as well as PBS Kids GO! On the Cyberchase website, each episode is available for free download in its entirety. It was reported that beginning in November, Cyberchase will be restored and start broadcasting new episodes with its 9th season. The show has been put on hiatus since July of2010, when it was originally scheduled to premiere. Alongside other PBS Kids Go series, seasons 1 through 5 were only just made available on Netflix. The return of Cyberchase for a ninth season was confirmed to take place on the show's official Facebook page in April of2013, and the launch date for this season has been set for November4, 2013.
