Milo Powell, the protagonist and main character of Captain Flamingo, is the protagonist and major character of a Canadian animated television series. Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films & Television, The Heroic Film Company, and PASI Animation developed the television series, which debuted on YTV in Canada on February7,2006, and is now broadcast on Jetix, Nicktoons, and the ABC in Australia. The series was supposed to launch on JETIX in the US in2007, but Toon Disney's new schedule premiered it on January28, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. Captain Flamingo was dropped from the Toon Disney schedule on August 12, 2008, but resurfaced on September 2 at 5:30 a.m. Captain Flamingo was once again pulled when Toon Disney was relaunched as Disney XD on February13,2009, and it hasn't aired in the US since. The protagonist is a young man of unknown age. He doesn't have any notable superpowers, only a desire to assist "little youngsters" in distress. His "super powers" include, among other things, a whoopee cushion. Reruns are no longer broadcast on YTV, although they are currently broadcast on the Nickelodeon channel in Canada.
