Blue Water High

Blue Water High is an Australian television drama series that airs on ABC1 and the Austar/Foxtel Nickelodeon channel in Australia, as well as on a variety of other channels in other countries. Each season follows the lives of a group of young pupils at Solar Blue, a high-performance surf academy where a select group of 16-year-olds are chosen for a 12-month surfing program on Sydney's northern beaches. In Blue Water High, there are three series. The producers had no plans to make a third series after the first two were aired in 2005 and 2006. However, in response to fan demand, they agreed to make another series, with only Kate Bell reprising her lead role. Solar Blue's third season ended with the show's cancellation, suggesting that it would not be renewed.
