Beauty and the Beast

Late 1700s, France. Leon Dalville is a prince with everything: excellent looks, love, and money. He loses everything one mysterious night, however. The prince's visage is forever scarred after his young wife dies in a fire. He wears a silver mask that only partially covers his face to hide his deformities, transforming him into a mysterious and ruthless man tormented by his history and despised by others. Bella Dubois arrives at Leon's palace, innocent and naive, to offer her services as a maid in exchange for her father's debts to the prince. Helene, Leon's cousin, challenges the prince to seduce and abandon Bella, whom she has always loved. Despite Helene's nasty and deceitful manipulations, Leon develops feelings for Bella.
