Babylon 5
Five miles long and positioned in neutral space, Babylon 5 is a space station. Constructed by the Earth Alliance in the 2250s, its purpose is to promote peace among the many alien races by offering a safe haven where grievances and talks can take place between legally chosen ambassadors. The Earth Alliance, Minbari Federation, Centauri Republic, Narn Regime, and Vorlon Empire work with the League of Non-Aligned Worlds to maintain order in interplanetary relations. In addition to its diplomatic role, Babylon 5 functions as a military outpost for Earth and a port of call for travelers, merchants, businesspeople, criminals, and Rangers.
