Nickelodeon developed and aired a new series in 1999 and 2000 with fresh directors, writers, and actors. Although Ross Hull returned for the final miniseries, which significantly departed from the show's established pattern by blurring the distinction between "fiction" and "reality," Tucker was the only original cast member to remain for both seasons.
