Archie's Weird Mysteries

The American animated kids' TV show Archie's Weird Mysteries is based on the Archie comics. The show is about a physics experiment at Riverdale High that goes wrong and makes the town of Riverdale a "magnet" for monsters from B-movies. The show is broadcast because it meets the FCC's guidelines for educational and informative children's programming. Commercial stations in the United States use it to meet this rule. The show was made by DIC Entertainment and was first shown on the PAX network in the mornings, often with infomercials at the beginning and end. As part of mandatory E/I regulations, its repeats were sent to TV stations all over the US during the next season.
