Ten strangers are drawn to an isolated rock off the coast of Devon, away from their daily lives. However, as the mismatched party awaits the arrival of their hosts, Mr. and Mrs. U.N. Owen, the weather deteriorates and they get shut off from civilization. Soon, the guests, each wrestling with their conscience, will begin to die — one by one, according to the rules of the nursery rhyme 'Ten Little Soldier Boys' — a rhyme that hangs in each room of the home and concludes with the most terrible lines of all: '... and then there were none.
