Adam-12 is a television police drama that featured two Los Angeles Police Department officers, Pete Malloy and Jim Reed, as they patrolled the streets of Los Angeles in their patrol unit, 1-Adam-12. The series was created by R. A. Cinader and Jack Webb, who is well known for his work on Dragnet. It represented a regular day in the life of a police officer as realistically as possible. From September21, 1968 until May20,1975, the show helped teach police processes and vocabulary to the general public in the United States of America.
