A Certain Magical Index

Kamijo is a student in Academy City, which is a place where people use science to get superpowers. The guy has a lot of heart, which is good for Index, a young nun. She is on the run from a sorcery society that wants her amazing 103,000 volumes of magical knowledge. Index finds a loyal friend and protector in Kamijo when she stumbles into his life. Even though Kamijo is the weakest kid in Academy City, he has something else going for him: the Imagine Breaker, an unexplained power stored in his right hand that cancels out the powers of others. With scientists and sorcerers coming at Index from all sides, the Imagine Breaker will come in handy, but Kamijo's greatest weapon in the fight to keep Index safe will be his loyalty to her.
