Linus is talked into running for school president because there is an election coming up. He has a good chance of winning if Lucy and Charlie Brown run his campaign and Snoopy and Woodstock help him. Soon, though, he starts making promises that can't be kept, and he finds out the hard way that preaching about the Great Pumpkin is not a good way to run for office.
