Year of the Dragon
In New York, the bigoted Captain Stanley White gets obsessed with dismantling a Chinese-American heroin network run by Joey Tai, a young criminal who is as ambitious as he is ruthless. While pursuing an unauthorized investigation, White becomes increasingly inclined to breach police protocol and resorts to increasingly violent means, despite his wife Connie's and his superiors' pleas that he consider the repercussions of his actions.
