Win, Lose or Love
Clara and Alex's parenting techniques are poles apart, owing to the fact that both are young and newly divorced. Clara, Alex's mother, hovers over her son Oliver like a helicopter, but Emma, Alex's daughter, feels cut off from her father's world. When Alex suggests that his marketing firm shoot a commercial at the kids' school, and Clara, who is running for parent group president, objects to the proposal, their worlds clash. To keep the company going, Alex nominates himself as the parent group's president in a moment of desperation. For whatever reason, Alex and Clara have a tie for president and must work together until the re-vote is held. When it comes to raising their children, the bitter adversaries put aside their differences and work together to raise a family. Even a glimmer of romance is sparked between Clara and Alex.
