White Wedding
The plot revolves around 17-year-old Mathilde (Paradis), who is irritable and has no parents. Her philosophy instructor, Francois (Cremer), stumbles upon her and is ready to assist her in her pursuit of knowledge. He begins to visit her daily, reviewing her assignments and instructing her in the art of study. Eventually, Mathilde begins dropping indications that she finds Francois, age 47, attractive. Despite his attempts to reject her, he finds himself falling in love with her. They must keep their affair a secret from his wife (Mikal) and the school, but their desire soon blossoms.
