West Side Story

A gang of Polish-American youths known as the Jets competes with a rival gang of recently immigrated Puerto Ricans known as the Sharks to "control" the neighborhood streets in the slums of Manhattan, New York. Tensions between the gangs are strong, but two children from opposing groups fall in love, resulting in tragedy.
