Welcome to Dongmakgol
The story is set in Korea during the Korean War in 1950, and is based on Jang Jin's long-running play. Soldiers from both the North and South, as well as an American pilot, are stranded in a remote and naively idealistic village, where the residents are unaware of the outside world, including the war.
