Urban Cowboy
As soon as Bud Davis arrives in Pasadena, Texas, he begins frequenting Gilley's Bar, where he meets Sissy, a cowgirl who holds the belief that men and women are equal. They do end up getting married, but it is a difficult marriage because of Bud's rigid views on gender roles. Bud and Sissy break up because Bud is jealous of his rival, Wes. But Bud tries to get Sissy back by winning Gilley's mechanical bull-riding competition.
