The Voice of the Martyrs is showing the new movie Tortured for Christ, which is based on the book Tortured for Christ by VOM founder Pastor Richard Wurmbrand. The movie is a movie version of the book. During the 50th anniversary of the book's release in 1967, a movie was made to honor it. Filmed entirely in Romania, including in the prison where Pastor Wurmbrand was tortured and solitary confinement, this powerful film tells the story through live action rather than interviews. It's a unique way to tell the story. The dialogue is shown in English, Romanian, and Russian (with English subtitles) so that this true story stays true to its roots.
