Torn Curtain
The plot of this film takes place during the Cold War when an American scientist appears to defect to East Germany as part of a covert mission to discover the formula for a resin solution. However, the plan goes awry when his fiancee, who is unaware of his true motivation, follows him across the border into East Germany.
