There is a genuine earthquake that takes place in Waldek's life, which is otherwise predominately occupied by computer games. During the time that she is away, mum is looked after by an aunt who can't be trusted at all. This aunt imposes new responsibilities on mum and introduces forms of punishment that have been foreign to her up to this point.
