Tokyo Drifter
Tetsuya "Phoenix Tetsu" Hondo, the top operative for yakuza lord Kurata, is offered a place by a rival kingpin when Kurata's own criminal empire is dismantled. Tatsuzo the "Viper," a brutal gun-for-hire who is unstoppable, is hired by Otsuka to assassinate Tetsu when the passionately loyal soldier refuses. Phoenix Tetsu becomes increasingly apprehensive that one of his former comrades has betrayed him as the Viper pursues him through the countryside in pursuit of his prey.
