A team of heavyweights working for gangster Dai Lo Fu busts Yeung's martial arts serial killer Chong out of jail in Tiger Claws II, which was published five years after the first volume. Chong is then transported to San Francisco's Chinatown. Tarek Richards of New York City contacts his former partner Linda Masterson, who now resides in Los Angeles, for assistance after learning of a spate of recent murders that have been committed utilizing Chong's signature method, a claw-like mark across the victim's face. It turns out that Chong is unrelated to the killings, though.
