Loki, the evil twin brother of Thor, has fled Asgard in quest of Yggdrasil, the Tree of the Nine Realms. Hid away on Earth is the tree that hides the power of the cosmos. Loki intends to cut down the tree and replace it in his likeness with the help of the gigantic wolf deity Fenrir, thereby establishing his rule over the entire world. For this reason, Thor has no choice but to accompany Loki to Earth to engage in a titanic conflict that will determine the fate of both realms.
