The Yellow Sea
The area between North Korea's, China's, and Russia's borders resembles a modern-day Wild West, with more than half of the population relying on criminal activity to exist. Gu-nam spends his days driving a cab and his nights getting drunk and gambling in Yanbian, on the Chinese side of the border. His wife went to Seoul to work and send money back, but he hasn't heard from her in months. Gu-nam hesitantly accepts a contract assassination in Seoul from local crime lord Myun in exchange for debt forgiveness.
