The Wind That Shakes the Barley

In the 1920s, a young doctor named Damien O'Donovan is about to leave Ireland for a new position in a London hospital. When he is saying his goodbyes at a friend's farm, British Black and Tans arrive and kill a young man who was standing nearby. Damien joins his brother Teddy in the Irish Republican Army, but political events quickly unfold that cause the brothers to become estranged from one another.
