The Weapon, the Hour, the Motive

Don Giorgio, a young and attractive priest and teacher at a monastery, has two girlfriends, Orchidea and Giulia. When he changes his mind and says he'll go back to the church, his attackers beat him to death. Giulia's throat is cut shortly thereafter. As Orchidea, the prime suspect, becomes Inspector Boito's fiancée, he begins to question his sanity. A curious young man named Ferruccio is being held captive and drugged because he may have the key to solving the crime. The question is whether or not anyone will believe him after he claims to have witnessed one of the murders.
