Tom travels to France to retrieve his son's remains when he passes away while trekking the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in the Pyrenees. He chooses to complete the 500-mile mountain climb to Spain in search of insight into his estranged child's existence. Tom quickly joins up with other passengers and discovers that they're all looking for something.
