Grace Crawford flees her fiancé's unexpected separation and seeks solace at her sister Catherine's distant farm house. In a similar vein to their mother, who also committed suicide, it becomes apparent that Catherine suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. Grace is having to come to terms with this hard truth, but she soon finds another dreadful little secret that has her scrambling to save herself and her family from further damage.
