Frank Galvin is a down-on-his-luck attorney, reduced to drinking and ambulance chasing. Former colleague Mickey Morrissey reminds him of his duty in a medical malpractice suit that he himself presented to Galvin on a silver platter, with all parties prepared to settle out of court.
