Alex, 43, is not a man who is overburdened with duties. He is a tow truck driver at his mother Antoinette's vehicle repair garage, which she runs with an iron grip. She hopes he will eventually take over the company, but Alex constantly demonstrates that he is unfit for the job. He assists a woman whose car has broken down one day and ends up staying with her. She is not to be found the next morning, and Alex learns he is alone... with three children!
