The Sweetest Heart
Maddie and Nate were high school sweethearts, and when Nate comes back to their hometown to teach at the hospital, they see each other again. Maddie is still hurt from their breakup, so she tries to stay away from him as much as possible. However, they end up becoming friends, and Nate helps her get money to expand her cupcake shop. Nate finds out that he has a job in Boston just as Maddie and Nate start to fall in love again. Saddened by the death of her husband, Maddie gives back the promise ring he gave her a long time ago. She also prepares for the grand reopening of her shop. In the end, Nate realizes how much he left behind. He has to make a decision about where he wants to spend the rest of his life.
