Eccentric Small-town Steeple Falls is very proud of and makes money from its Halloween traditions. Frank Carlyle ran a horror shop in Steeple Falls. Richard, Frank's grandson, comes back from Boston with his kids, Ian and Claire, to settle the inheritance. His great-grandfather, Zachariah Kull, was burned to death on the stake, but Ian finds out that the house is actually haunted, and not just by Kull, who was burned to death.
