Seventy-five years after Brad Washburn, one of the greatest aerial mountain photographers of all time, shot Alaska's Denali Mountain from an open door of an airplane, climbing buddies Renan Ozturk, Freddie Wilkinson, and Zack Smith look at some of his mountain photographs and come up with this crazy idea. Rather of going up, their dream is to slide sideways — across the Moose's Tooth massif, the range's most ominous peaks. It's a novel approach to exploring the same landscape Washburn first discovered. As the crew battles harsh circumstances, dissolving ropes, and continuous rockfall, their goal to be the first to complete the daring route becomes an obsession. But when Renan suffers a near-fatal brain damage, all three partners must determine what is most essential to them.
