The Road

A father and his son are wandering through a scorched and abandoned America together. The only thing that seems to be alive in the devastated environment is the ash that blows in the wind and floats on the lake. It is so cold that stones can fracture under their own weight, and the sky is gloomy while snow is falling. The sky is completely clouded over. Even though they don't know what, if anything, lies in store for them in the warmer south, their destination is still that region.
