The Quest: The Longest Drive

The two Beaudine brothers initially turn down rancher Hatcher's invitation to accompany him on a cattle drive, but they change their minds when he is shot. Consequently, they set out with six other riders, a cook, and an owner who is recovering, with 1500 cows heading for Colorado, which is 1000 miles away.. Accidents, Indians, two of the riders attempting to rustle some of Hatcher's cattle and flee, squatters demanding money, a stampede, and a lack of water will all be encountered along the trip.
