The Price of Desire

Eileen Gray (1878–1976) was an Irish architect and furniture designer who was a key figure in the modern design movement. The central conflict in this elegant depiction of her later life and work in France revolves around the triangle of tension between Gray (Orla Brady), her boyfriend Badovici (Francesco Scianna), and Le Corbusier (Francesco Scianna) (Vincent Perez). Alanis Morrissette also appears in the film as chanteuse Marisa Damia, Gray's second lover, and Dominique Pinon (Delicatessen, Amélie) appears as artist Fernand Léger.
