Denny Burke is close to completing his high school education. Senior year has been a series of setbacks: a broken leg, a broken heart, and–most devastatingly— a broken household. Denny embarks on one more rock-climbing excursion with four of his closest pals to demonstrate that he is ready to begin his adult life... The five teenagers gain a genetic boost unlike anything they could have anticipated during their journey. Denny is soon faced with his first major adult decision: do he give up his powers and remain a normal teenager, or do he maintain them...and graduate from the human race?
