The Photographer of Mauthausen

Francesc Boix, a Spanish photographer imprisoned in the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp, is employed by the SS Photographic Service. Between 1943 and 1945, he conceals thousands of negatives with the assistance of other prisoners in order to demonstrate to the emancipated world the Nazis' misdeeds, which are carefully recorded. He will testify in the Nuremberg Trials in a pivotal capacity.
