The Messenger

Will Montgomery, played by Ben Foster, is a U.S. Army Staff Sergeant who just got back from Iraq and was put in charge of the Army's Casualty Notification service. Montgomery works with Captain Tony Stone (Woody Harrelson) to let the families of soldiers who have died know what happened. Olivia Pitterson, played by Samantha Morton, is attracted to the Sergeant after he tells her that her husband has died.
