When an idealistic romantic loses his day job, he is offered a "one-time gig" to break up a girl's relationship in front of her disapproving parents. This "one-time" gig spreads by word of mouth, and he eventually becomes a professional match-breaker. He falls for one of his clients, however, and must figure out how to balance his secret job with his love life.
