The Man Standing Next

In the 1970s, President Park, who oversees the KCIA, an agency with a veto over any branch of government, has complete control of Korea. KIM Gyu-pyeong, the director of KCIA, appears to be the most promising second-in-command. In the midst of terror, former KCIA director PARK Yong-gak exiles to the U.S., where 'Koreagate' is being investigated. As the tension rises, all second-in-commands engage in suffocating political maneuvering.
