After a third tour in Iraq, Logan Thibault returns home with the one thing he attributes his survival to-a photograph of an unknown woman. As soon as he learned her name was Beth and where she lived, he showed up at her door and accepted a job at her family's local kennel. In spite of her early suspicion and the difficulties in her life, a romance develops between Logan and Beth, giving Logan optimism that Beth could be more than just his lucky charm.
