The Long Good Friday

In the late 1970s, Cockney crime lord Harold Shand, a gangster aspiring to become a respectable property magnate, has ambitious plans to convince the American Mafia to fund his redevelopment of a run-down district of London into a potential Olympic Games venue. However, his kingdom is targeted by a series of attacks over the weekend when the United States is in town. Shand is convinced that there is a traitor within his organization and sets out to assassinate him in typical Shand fashion.
