The Loner
A child soldier in Iran in the 1980s, Behrouz is haunted by memories of that time. In Los Angeles, he wants to become a real estate agent and live a simple life with his girlfriend, Okra. His opium addiction and gambling addiction make it more and more difficult for him to live an ordinary life. He also struggles to forget about his past with the Iranian mafia and move on. They soon find themselves caught between the feuding heads of the Iranian and Russian mobs, so they can't help but help each other get out of the way.
