The Lodgers

1920, Ireland's rural countryside Rachel and Edward, Anglo-Irish twins, live a peculiar existence in their decaying family estate. Each night, the property becomes the domain of an evil entity (The Lodgers) that imposes three restrictions on the twins: they must be in bed by midnight, they may not allow anybody beyond the threshold, and if one attempts to flee, the other's life is in danger. When the damaged war veteran Sean returns to the surrounding village, he is immediately attracted to the mysterious Rachel, who begins to transgress The Lodgers' regulations. The repercussions force Rachel into a fatal confrontation with her brother, as well as the curse that haunts them.
