Ariel and Prince Eric have a daughter, Melody, a few years after the events in the first film. Melody's mermaid heritage has been kept a secret from her in order to protect her from Morgana, the Sea Witch. Curiosity gets the better of Melody, and she ends out in the sea, where she meets new people. Is Morgana using her as a pawn to take over the seas from Triton?
