The Lady Vanishes

In the middle of the night, a train bound for England is delayed by an avalanche. Young Iris becomes friends with the elderly Miss Froy while cooped up in a hotel in a fictional European country. As soon as the train resumes, Iris falls asleep and wakes up to find that the elderly woman has vanished. When the other passengers flat-out deny that Miss Froy ever existed, Iris teams up with a fellow traveler to find out the truth, and as the two work together on their case, passionate feelings flow.
