Siu Man is a lady who appears to have a life that is perfect on the outside, but her husband has left her because she is afraid of being intimate. Following a series of difficult experiences, she makes the decision to give her life a fresh start by running the restaurant her father owned. Siu Man gradually finds herself attracted to her new chef, a free personality who approaches cooking as though it were a serious philosophical endeavor. Siu Man decides she has had enough of the chains she has imposed on herself and sets out on a path for sexual liberation and self-discovery.
